About This Soap:

Jojoba & Rose is a creamy, luxurious and nourishing face soap chock full of skin loving natural, vegan ingredients. Perfect for sensitive skin, mature skin and dry skin. The coconut milk is a nice vegan alternative to goat milk. Palmarosa essential oil gives the soap a fresh rose scent.

Soap base is a blend of Coconut milk, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Rosehip Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter. Rose Clay is added along with a Palmarosa essential oil. It is topped with organic rose petals.

Coconut Milk is hydrating for the skin and is rich in essential vitamins and minerals...as well as being a vegan alternative to dairy milk, that gives soap a creamy, bubbly lather, and soft consistency. It is also thought to provide wrinkle prevention due to the high levels of Vitamin C and Copper, which help reduce wrinkles while improving skin elasticity. Coconut Milk is high in fatty acids and moisturizing to the skin without clogging pores.

Jojoba is a natural oil extracted from the seed of the jojoba plant and is closest to the oil produced by the human skin called ‘sebum’ that helps protect and heal the skin from external toxins. It is the first defense barrier for the skin. Jojoba Oil contains many essential fatty acids, powerful antioxidants and vitamins. Naturally rich in Vitamins A, D and E, this gentle oil works to regenerate skin cells. It also contains fatty acids Omega 6 and 9 and works to repair damaged skin cells.

Shea Butter has long been known for it’s great ability to soften and sooth dry skin. It lends a certain degree of hardness to a bar of soap as well as creamy luxurious lather. Shea butter contributes a high percentage of unsaponifiables (up to 17%). Unsaponifiables are beneficial substances that survive the saponification process. These substances aren’t fatty acids and therefore they don’t react with lye making the finished bar even more moisturizing and nourishing.

Clays help remove toxins from the skin by drawing out impurities and excess oils. Rose clay is one of the gentlest clays, which makes it suitable for sensitive, dry and mature skin. It is also gently exfoliating and helps buff off dead skin cells leaving skin feeling fresh, smooth, and rejuvenated while helping with anti-aging, and balancing and smoothing of the skin.

Always keep your soap in a place free of pooling water and on a well-draining soap dish to get the longest life from your soap. If it is allowed to sit in water, it will begin to soften and melt away before your full enjoyment.

Everything in my shop is made by hand by me, in Tucson AZ. I make everything in small batches so no two will ever be the same. Because of the nature of handmade goods, you may find slight variations of color or design in an individual bar of soap or other handmade item that I offer. This adds to the unique and beautiful nature of handcrafted, small batch soaps. Our batches are made using controlled amounts of each ingredient in our proprietary recipes and blends to ensure quality and consistency, from batch to batch. This will cause unique variations in each soap and handmade good batch to batch-but that is part of the fun of handmade creations! We hope you appreciate this, too.


I use Cold Process soap making methods and each batch is left to cure a minimum of 4-6 weeks before sale, so that the soap has had enough time to become a harder, longer lasting bar. I pick each set of ingredients specifically for each batch of soap, nothing is pre-made, and no preservatives or detergents are used. I hand mix and blend all the ingredients myself. I frequently re-use shipping products I receive in efforts to support recycling and reduce waste in our land fills. My goal is to be 100% plastic free.
