About this soap:

This gentle and nourishing soap is infused with essential oil goodness! Petitgrain, Howood, Bergamot and Lavender essential oils are blended with all-natural nourishing plant based oils and a combination of Cocoa and Shea Butters help to retain moisture and avoid stripping skin of its natural balance. This is a fresh yet mellow soap bound to make your bathing rituals more special. I designed this soap to try to capture the feel of the beautiful desert sun where I live.

Colored naturally with Red and Yellow Brazilian Clays.

All my soaps are made with skin loving, luxurious plant-based oils, mineral rich clays and provide a rich creamy lather that your skin will love. The cold-process soap method naturally produces glycerin, which allows skin to absorb moisture more readily.
All of the soap that I make is moisture rich, due to "superfatting" which essentially means that each batch is made with an additional helping of nourishing plant butters and oils. By adding these additional fats into the soap making process, my soaps maintain more nutritive properties throughout the soap-making process. This means your skin will receive an extra dose of moisture while cleansing, keeping your skin soft and supple.

In my studies of beneficial clays, I have read that “Yellow Clay is rich in silicon dioxide, a catalyst for the formation of skin collagen, it helps to combat and slow down the skin aging process.

It helps reduce inflammation, improves the elasticity and blood circulation of the skin. Its re-mineralizing action is excellent for removing excess oil and reducing blackheads.”

This bar is topped with Dried botanicals.

Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Castor Oil, Red and Yellow Brazilian Clay, Essential Oils of Neroli, Cedarwood and Petitgrain and topped with dried botanicals.

Bars are hand cut and weigh an average of 4.5 oz’s. Each batch is hand made and will vary batch to batch, so may not look exactly like the one pictured, but the ingredients remain the same!

Everything in my shop is made by hand by me, in Tucson AZ. I make everything in small batches so no two will ever be the same. Please understand that this will case unique variations in each soap batch to batch-but that is part of the fun of handmade goods!

I use Cold Process soap making methods and each batch is left to cure a minimum of 4-6 weeks before sale, so that the soap has had enough time to become a harder, longer lasting bar. I pick each set of ingredients specifically for each batch of soap, nothing is pre-made, and no preservatives or detergents are used. I hand mix and blend all the ingredients myself.
